Thankful As the month of November past by I daily saw friends and family members posts on facebook about all that they were thankful for. I thought about many things, but sometimes it felt too personal to share on facebook...so I decided to compile a list for the whole month at once. It's never too late to be thankful, right? 1. I am thankful for my knowledge of the Savior and his plan for me. I don't know what I'd do or where I'd be without the gospel in my life. 2. I am thankful for my sweet hubs. He may look gruff and mean to those who don't know him, but I have never known a more tender guy. I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt that I come first to him in every way. That is priceless knowledge. 3. I am thankful for Noah. He made me a mom and he continues to teach me daily on how to be a better mom and person. I am proud of the kind of kid he is, he is soft hearted, a fierce competitor, and goal oriented. 4. I am thankful for Taylor. She has brought all that glitters and sparkles into my world. She reminds me to enjoy being a girl. She is a ray of sunshine and is sheer entertainment. 5. I am thankful for little E. I am thankful for his serious nature, his knowledge of all sorts of random trivia and for the fact that he is smarter than I will ever be. I am thankful for his stubborn streak, I just hope I can direct it in the right way. I am thankful that he brought our family together and is our irreplaceable baby. 6. I am thankful for my Sirius Radio. Commercials suck. 7. I am thankful for my parents. They are remarkable people to whom I owe so much. They continue to teach and amaze me. They are awesome grandparents. 8. I am thankful for football. I love it. I love everything about it. I love that my boys get to play it and I get to watch it. 9. I am thankful for my puppy Harley. I never knew what I was missing until I got her. 10. I am thankful for my water jug that keeps track of my daily water intake. Takes all the excuses out of the equation. 11. I am thankful for Netflix. How else could I go back and enjoy old episodes of Parks and Rec, The Office, and Psych over and over again? 12. I am thankful for good coaches. My kids have been blessed with some great coaches. You don't realize how great that is until you end up with a crappy one. 13. I am thankful for my house. It isn't perfect, it isn't huge, but it keeps us warm and dry. It fits our needs and it is where thousands of memories were born. 14. I am thankful for my grandparents. I come from a long line of great people. 15. I am thankful for Sundays. I love being able to know my kids will be home all afternoon. I love that they hang out and talk to us. 16. I am thankful for my nieces and nephews. They make me smile every time I see one of them. 17. I am thankful for good friends. I love being friends with all kinds of people. I enjoy 'real' people who all bring something different to the table. 18. I am thankful that both my hubs and I have jobs. They provide for our wants and needs. 19. I am thankful for the Priesthood and that it is in my home. 20. I am thankful that my family is a forever family. January 25th is a special day to me. I got to see my entire family in the temple of the Lord being sealed for time and all eternity. 21. I am thankful for chicken noodle soup. It makes everything better!! 22. I am thankful for opportunities to serve. 23. I am thankful that I live where I do. 24. I am thankful for unlimited texting. I love hearing from family and friends...especially those that live far away from me. They can text any time of the day or night and I am reminded that they love me. 25. I am thankful for my health and the health of my family. It is so easy to take that for granted. 26. I am thankful that I can dream. I have some huge dreams...dreams that may never come true. But I love that I can still dream them. 27. I am thankful that my boys plan on serving missions. That terrifies me, but I am so proud of both of them. 28. I am thankful that my sweet daughter can bake. I can't. Not a bit. 29. I am thankful for my brother and sisters. I love them. They teach me how to be a better person. I am proud of them. They are the only other people on earth who understand "where I am coming from". 30. I am thankful for exercise. It helps me stay sane.
